Hello. We had a problem – we tried to save changes in functions.php and the WordPress panel. There was a message
“Unable to connect to the site to check the code for errors, changes to the PHP code were rolled back. You need to upload the modified PHP file in another way, for example via FTP or SFTP.”
We corresponded with the hosting for a long time, disabled all plugins. There was a problem.
It can only be solved this way –
1 Disable renaming the login page in All In One WP Security.
2 Go to the panel under the regular WordPress login page (this is a must!!!)
3 The problem disappears
4 Enable renaming the login page.
